Episode 27: The Kelvedon Hatch Secret Nuclear Bunker

Hidden deep within the Essex countryside, sits an unassuming cottage that hides a huge secret.

The secret underground nuclear bunker at Kelvedon Hatch was set to be the regional government headquarters for the London Metropolitan area if the UK came under nuclear attack.

Thankfully, the cold war never escalated to a nuclear apocalypse, but it seems that someone, or something, didn’t want to leave the bunker just yet…
