Episode 30: Oakwell Hall

Oakwell Hall in Birstall has been part of the local landscape since 1583, as a former home of the Batt family, and then as various boarding schools before turning into the museum it is today.

But it’s not just home to knowledgeable staff members and Elizabethan furniture… because rumour has it, that one of the former owners continues to play out the most famous ghost story tied to this place.
